HERITAGE PARK PLAYGROUND &

SPLASH PAD UPGRADE & EXPANSION

We're excited to announce that we are expanding the playground and splash pad at Heritage Park to create a more inclusive space for our community. This expansion will allow more families to enjoy the facilities together and will include additional accessible features, ensuring that everyone, regardless of age or ability, can join in the fun. Play is a universal language that connects us all, and we are committed to making Heritage Park a place where everyone can create lasting memories. Let's come together to make a difference and build a more inclusive and enjoyable space for all.

YOUTH RECREATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP

We are committed to helping the talented youth of our community hone their skills through equal access to travel sports and performing arts. Sadly, rising costs continue to prevent many families from participating in the next-level competition. We invite partners who share this goal of providing every child with a chance to reach their potential; your support in covering travel ball expenses or private lessons can make a significant difference in each young person's life.

FUNDRAISING GOAL: $15,000

FUNDRAISER EVENTS

A white background with a few lines on it

The inaugural Dinner on First was held on May 14, 2016. The event benefited the proposed Connect Park Project, a concept that would impact the recreational play of children no matter their age or ability. This goal was achieved in 2018 with the opening of the Connected Playground at Margaret Ingle Park.

Dinner on First offers an opportunity for the Cullman community to come together as one to benefit something meaningful, and it provides a splendid moment in time in which residents can connect with their friends and neighbors, as well as the Cullman Parks, Recreation, & Sports Tourism Foundation Board members who have gone to extraordinary lengths to make the gathering a night to remember. The event features complimentary table wine as well as a full cash bar.

Dinner on First will be May 18, 2023.

ALABAMA STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

Step up to the tee and make a difference at the Alabama Strawberry Festival Golf Tournament, a premier event supporting the Cullman Parks & Recreation Foundation Scholarship. This tournament isn't just about the game; it's a powerful drive towards providing equal access to travel sports and performing arts for the talented youth in our community.

Rising costs shouldn't be a barrier to next-level competition, and your sponsorship can change the game. Partner with us, and let's ensure that every young athlete and artist has the chance to reach their full potential. Your support will not only spotlight your business but also build a stronger, more inclusive community.
