Ballroom Dance Classes

Date: Thursdays Beginning September 14, 2017

Location: Cullman Civic Center

Cost: $10 per class

These classes will focus on ballroom dance techniques. A new dance will be covered each month. The instructor is Victoria Boyce.

Homeschool Student Classes: Beginners at 1pm, Advanced at 2:15pm.
After School Class: 5:30pm
Adult Classes: Beginners at 6:30pm, Advanced at 7:30pm

Kids Create After School Art Class

Date: Fall Session: September 19 – December 12 | Spring Session: January 23 – April 17

Location: Art Building at Art Park

Ages: 5-12

Times: 4pm on Tuesdays

Class will include a broad overview of art, crafts, and topics including mixed media, recycled art, painting, drawing, and more.

Mommy & Me Art Class

Date: Fall Session: September 19 – December 12 | Spring Session: January 23 – April 17

Location: Art Building at Art Park

Ages: 5 & under

Times: 10am on Tuesdays

Crafts include take-home and keepsake items that will engage your child and allow them to express their creative freedom!

Oil Painting & Acrylic Class

Date: September – March

Location: Art Building at Art Park

Ages: 16 & up

Cost: $5 per class

Times: 6pm – 8:30pm on Mondays

Located at the Art Building at the Art Park on Main Avenue, classes feature technique, skills, and instruction on ongoing oil and acrylic paintings.

Pumpkin Carving Contest

Date: October 24 – 31

Ages: All Ages

Cost: Free

Join in on our annual pumpkin carving contest held on our Facebook page! Carve your best pumpkin, take a selfie with it, and post it to our Facebook timeline at http://www.facebook.com/CullmanParksRec. The winner will receive a free six-month family membership to the Cullman Wellness & Aquatic Center.

Card Making Art Class

Date: December 7 – 21

Location: Art Building at Art Park

Ages: All Ages

Cost: $25

Times: 6pm on Thursdays

Held at the Art Building at the Art Park on Main Avenue, the class will teach beginners how to make cards for the holidays. All materials provided.

Cookie Decorating Class

Date: December 4 – 18

Location: Cullman Civic Center

Ages: All Ages

Cost: $25

Times: 6pm on Mondays

Held at the Cullman Civic Center, the class goes over decorating cookies with the Christmas holiday theme. All materials with be provided!

Missoula Children’s Theater

Date: January 15 – 20

Location: Cullman Civic Center

Ages: 5-18

Cost: $35 (if selected)

Auditions for the musical production will be held Monday, January 15 at 3:30pm for the show; selected actors will practice the remainder of the week with two shows on Saturday, January 20 at 2pm and 6pm. Auditions, practice, and shows are all held at the Cullman Civic Center.

Art Vendors at the Festhalle

The Festhalle Farmer’s Market is open Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday each week from 7am to 2pm, and craft vendors are on the market daily! Swing by the market between April and October during the normal market season.
